D'HEARTS was born from movement, transformation, and the belief that what we wear can influence how we feel. More than an activewear brand, D'HEARTS represents the strength, femininity, and confidence that live within every woman — and the energy, presence, and purpose we believe belong in every man too.
DeAngelis Puerta has spent much of her life connected to movement, music, performance, teaching, and visual storytelling. She was a professional singer and a member of the fourth generation of the iconic Venezuelan female group Las Chicas del Can, and performed with other all-female musical groups throughout her artistic career.
Before creating D'HEARTS, DeAngelis worked professionally as a dancer, practiced salsa casino, and taught dance and Zumba classes in Venezuela. She also worked as an entertainer, recreation leader, and event host, bringing energy and artistry to every stage and space she entered.
Her experience as a children's dance instructor and dance coordinator became another meaningful part of her journey. Teaching and training young girls in dance, choreography, stage presence, discipline, teamwork, and artistic expression, she witnessed how movement can help girls develop confidence, creativity, self-esteem, and a stronger connection with their bodies.
DeAngelis later earned her university degree in Audiovisual Arts, further developing her passion for creativity, visual communication, storytelling, and artistic direction. As a mother and entrepreneur, she understood that clothing should feel as good as it looks — comfortable and functional, yet feminine, flattering, secure, and empowering.
That same philosophy now extends to a dedicated men's section. Because D'HEARTS is not only for women. The unisex pieces are designed so that couples, training partners, and friends can move together in matching looks — the same clean aesthetic, the same confident energy, the same commitment to quality. Whether you are heading to the gym, running errands, or sharing a moment after class, D'HEARTS lets you show up as a team.
D'HEARTS is the natural continuation of DeAngelis's lifelong relationship with movement, femininity, performance, creativity, and reinvention. Every piece is created to support movement, highlight natural qualities, and help you feel confident during your workouts and throughout your everyday life.
